The Center for the Congregation in Public Life is a national training institute for persons and congregations who take seriously both the life of faith and the urgent social needs of our interconnected world. It educates individuals and congregations for ministries that promote peace, justice and the integrity of creation. Its educational method emphasizes practical thinking that is nourished by dialogue with the Bible and Christian tradition, academic disciplines, the world's religions, and a variety of civic traditions and spiritual practices. It accomplishes its mission through training seminars, workshops, consulting, resource materials, publications and research.
